Craft and Career Weekend Intensive @ The Prep NY

A dynamic weekend of training designed to challenge actors, expand their range, and build real-world performance skills across multiple areas of the industry. This intensive brings together On-Camera Television & Film, Commercial Acting, Voiceover, and Comedy for a full weekend of focused, hands-on work.

Actors will dive into scene work, on-camera technique, commercial performance, voiceover, comedic timing, and the skills needed to confidently approach different types of performance opportunities. Throughout the weekend, students will work both individually and with scene partners to develop performances that are truthful, specific, connected, and camera-ready.

On Sunday, it all comes together on set. Students will film scenes in a professional on-camera environment, putting their training into practice while gaining valuable experience working in front of the camera and experiencing the process of being on set.
