Annie Abramczyk

Studio Manager and Instructor for Acting Technique + Self Tapes

Annie Abramczyk (she/her) is a junior coach at The Prep NY and executive assistant to Co-Owner and Founder Theresa Pittius. She has studied at The Prep NY for two years and trains privately with Theresa Pittius. Annie specializes in coaching film and TV, theater, physical acting, method acting, college program auditions (BFA/MFA), dialects, and building a character. Pedicocigally, Annie continues to train with and shadow Theresa Pittius, and uses Theresa's method for acting, in addition to techniques from Lee Strasberg, Jerzy Grotowski, Stanislavski, and Uta Hagen.

She loves working with actors of all ages, strengthening technique, and building confidence in her students.

Annie is an honors graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she studied at the Experimental Theatre Wing, the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, and Stonestreet Studios. Annie also earned a journalism degree from NYU’s Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute.

As an artist, she has appeared in many world premiere plays and has worked with the International Theatre Workshop Amsterdam, The Prep NY, the Verbatim Performance Lab, Denver Center for the Performing Arts, and Yale Repertory Theatre. Recent credits include the world premiere of falcon girls, written by Hilary Bettis and directed by May Adrales at the Yale Repertory Theatre, where she originated the role of Rebecca Brooks, and the world premiere of The Suffragette’s Murder, written by Sandy Rustin and directed by Margot Bordelon at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, where she originated the role of Miss Mabel Adams. The Suffragette’s Murder was recently nominated for a Henry Award for Outstanding New Play.

In addition to her time on stage and screen, Annie served on the Drama Division staff at The Juilliard School from July 2023 to July 2025 as the Artistic Programs Assistant. Annie is involved in many philanthropic pursuits regarding arts and society around New York City and is a proud member of The Players and Actors’ Equity Association. She is represented by Rebel Creative Group and Take3Talent. â€‹
